Business establishments who wanted to do business in the Food and Drug Industry in the Philippines must have a valid license to operate from the Bureau of Food and Drugs either as a manufacturer, trader, retailer, importer or exporter of food and pharmaceutical products.

General Requirements for a License to Operate:

1. SEC Certificate of Registration in the Philippines for Corporations and Partnerships;

2. Department Of Trade and Industry Certificate of Registration and Business Name Clearance for Sole Proprietorships;

3. Detailed Floor Plan and lease contract (when applicable)of the place of business.

4. Petition and *Joint Affidavit of Undertaking between the Owner/Manager or Responsible Corporate Officer and Pharmacists (* For Pharmaceutical companies)
